You have an opportunity to participate in a research project being conducted by Ghanam Consulting Inc., the project manager for "Targeting Employment Opportunities in the New Economy".  Our principal researcher is Dr. Martha Reavley, Associate Professor of Management, Odette School of Business. This project is sponsored by the Government of Canada through the Pan Canadian Innovations Initiative. You will receive a small payment for your time to take part in this project.

This study is designed to assess the impact of different methods of delivering labour market information (LMI) on job search and employment outcomes. If you volunteer to participate in this study, we would ask you to do the following things:

1. Complete a short survey at the beginning, part way through, and at the end of the study (12 months from now)

2. Receive labour market information training through one of four methods:

a. self-directed training

b. web-based training

c. one-on-one training

d. small group training
